About the Coach Tom is a trained professional coach who has a proven track record of business and leadership experience in a real-world environment coupled with a strong educational background with an Aerospace Engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He has been the Chief Operating Officer / Vice President of a high-tech manufacturing firm for the last 14 years. As the COO, he has complete P&L accountability and is responsible for all functions in the corporate environment. Tom has an especially strong background in operations, marketing, and accounting. Prior to his business career, Tom was a highly decorated combat fighter pilot in Vietnam receiving two Distinguished Flying Crosses and 14 Air Medals. Flying the F-4D Phantom fighter/bomber, he logged over 200 combat missions in the USAF. Now, Tom coaches professionals, business executives, entrepreneurs, military personnel, Christian believers, parents, and individuals as he helps them overcome business challenges, become more effective leaders, move through life transitions, attain life balance, and find God’s vision for their lives. Tom received his coach training from the Institute of Life Coaching Training (ILCT), which is an Accredited Coaching Training Program (ACTP) under the umbrella of the International Coaches Federation (ICF). He is also a member of the Christian Coaches Network (www.christiancoachesnetwork.com). He has been married for over 37 years, is the husband of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), is the parent of two grown daughters, and is a grandfather. Tom is also an experienced speaker, teacher, Bible study leader, lay counselor, and home group leader. Coaching assumes that each person in the coaching relationship is guided by his or her values and beliefs. As a Christian Coach, Tom is a committed follower of Jesus Christ and seeks to live in accordance with this commitment. He is honest in making this revelation but respects the different values and beliefs of others. He does not seek to impose his values on others, proselytize, condemn, or refuse coaching services to people who do not share similar values and beliefs.
